Stillwater: Community Stories, Community Murals
     Storytelling Workshops Lead by artist-in-residence Leslie Anne Martin

Stillwater residents wrote a brief and meaningful story. Many stories include a favorite memory, interesting community history, a favorite place, etc. Using shapes and colors from construction paper, each participant designed a block based on their story. Stories were read aloud and audio recorded for viewers to hear the duration of the exhibition.

These blocks are combined to create a storytelling community quilt. They will be voted on and chosen for an outdoor mural project at the Roxie Weber Housing Development.
